Hermanos Lurton

The history of ‘Hermanos’ Lurton began in 1992, initially in Rueda with the discovery of its unique ‘Verdejo’ native grape variety. Jacques and François are passionate about this grape. These innovators quickly revolutionised the appellation’s style of wines with their expertise. Seeking an estate to produce fine red wine, they naturally turned to Toro DO. François Lurton travelled the appellation and discovered old plots of exceptional Tinta de Toro such as ‘Cuesta Grande’.
